About Evolve Yoga
Evolve Yoga is my personal method of sharing yoga. A combination of 19 years of experience, thousands of hours teaching and committed investment in my training and continuing education. Continued learning and growing to bring an integrated and embodied approach that emphasizes developing awareness physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically.
This awareness can help you to live better in your body and your life. Through unique sequences designed to increase mobility, which is the combination of strength and flexibility, students who enjoy being challenged in unique and new ways are encouraged to discover the language of their inner landscape by tracking sensation and staying present through specific breath practices. In this way, students grow a deeper connection to themselves while expanding that connection into every aspect of their life. They can take the skills developed on the mat and improve their presence, connection, and life off the mat.
In Evolve Yoga every pose is an assessment pose. We utilize The Roll Model® Method to increase self-care practices with the succession of each class building on itself. Each class is unique, as they are adapted to suit the needs and abilities of the students in the class, making these classes appropriate for all levels.
Relax & Restore
Restorative yoga is a delicious surrender into quiet, supported postures on bolsters and blankets. This class emphasizes gentle movements designed to unwind the mind and the body with slow rhythmic movement followed by a journey deep into supported postures and pranayama techniques, gentle stretching, and meditation.
This class is designed for students looking for deep relaxation, stress relief, and quiet reflection.

Yoga Tune Up®
When it comes to optimizing your health, you need to know your body and how to care for it. I teach Yoga Tune Up® as an integrated inside-out approach: a playful way to explore the micro-regions of your body’s anatomy and break through the body blind spots that keep you bogged down in patterns of tension and pain.
Yoga Tune Up® combines elements of yoga, conscious corrective exercise, and self-massage to tap into your body’s intelligence. Taking into account the wear and tear of our daily lives, YTU helps to balance out those areas of your body that are overused, underused, misused, or abused.
I help people from all walks of life heal dysfunctional patterns of movement, restore their natural strength and flexibility, all while inviting a sense of creativity, spirit, and wonder into their body and their lives.

The Roll Model® Method
The Roll Model Method is a soft-tissue conditioning, self-care fitness format that uses the various Roll Model®Therapy Balls for self-myofascial release (self-massage). This may include breath work, CheckIn and ReCheck, elements of alignment, anatomy instruction and mental awareness (such as conscious relaxation).
The four different Roll Model Therapy Balls used within the Roll Model® Method are the YTU Original Therapy Balls, the Therapy Ball PLUS, the ALPHA Ball (and ALPHA Twinset), and the Coregeous® Ball. Each provides a different size and density to help target various body areas uniquely and allow for varying pressure needs to help craft an individualized approach.
