About the Event
Winter Solstice Practice to celebrate the shortest day and the longest night of the year. It is a perfect time to reflect, meditate, and practice together in the shared experience of an inner somatic journey. Soma is a word that describes the living organism in its wholeness - it's this concept that our basic blueprint as humans is wholeness, and through the embodied experience of sensations, emotions, internal narratives, relational stance, actions, and nonactions, we are designed to heal through embodied transformation.
This unique workshop blends breath, vision, gentle movement, journaling, and meditation to celebrate the shortest day of the year and the return of the light with a personal insight to carry you through the long night and beyond.
You may emerge from this session with:
- More choices
- have a wider emotional range
- More in response to making choices that matter to you and those you care about.
- Less reactivity and more responsiveness.
How do we know what embodied transformation looks and feels like? We know we've transformed when our actions align with our vision and values, even under the same old pressures.
May we all live inside of ourselves with more aliveness and wholeness.
